This summer is filled with the completion of many Mt. Tabor building projects and the start of a new luxury home.
The summer of 2025 has been a busy one for the construction professionals at Mt. Tabor Builders in Clear Spring, MD. Only one month into the season, three custom homes have been finished and turned over to excited homeowners. In addition to those projects, one homeowner is now watching their luxury home march towards completion. You can follow that work on Mt. Tabor‘s company Facebook page.
Custom single-level living
This brick, one-level custom home boasts front and back porches to enjoy the spacious lot and the many sunrises and sunsets still left in 2025.The interior offers clean crisp lines with two separate living areas, according to Mt. Tabor sales manager Rick Yohe. He added that the home has nice appointments, including custom built-in cabinets, gleaming wood floors, arched doorways, a tile shower and solid surface tops in the kitchen and bathrooms.
A fully finished basement with a large living area completes this home.
Luxury living inside and out, with mountain views
The next Mt. Tabor home featured is the picture of elegance. This custom home features luxury living on the inside of the home and plenty of entertaining space on the exterior. The homeowners have the option of enjoying their favorite beverage on the HUGE front porch or side porches for mountain views. The back porch is a tranquil location when a pool view is preferred.
The interior has custom finishes, including hardwood floors, upgraded kitchen cabinets, a stone fireplace and built-in cabinets. The stone fireplace ties the interior nicely to the stone found on the home’s front and rear facades. The rear porch is faced with stone and is covered in composite tongue and groove deck boards. The black metal railings are the perfect accents here. Pool views are also available from the screened room, just off the rear porch.
This traditional Colonial design fits the local landscape
The last home featured in this blog is this custom-built Colonial. This traditional design features an all-brick exterior with 400 Series Andersen Windows that combines the look of yesteryear with today’s efficiency. The inside of the home features sand-in-place hardwood, custom kitchen cabinets, built-ins and a custom tile shower in the master bathroom. The bluish grey interior paint accents add to the feeling of stepping back in America’s past.
The walls of windows in the dining room may make it the most-impressive room in the entire dwelling. It’s pictured here. Onlookers can imagine an October dinner with perfect lighting from the sun sinking in the night sky.
The setting is perfect for the home’s style. Lush landscaping with ponds and plenty of natural cover complete the picture for these new homeowners.

Mt. Tabor‘s designs and builds custom homes, major additions and outdoor living spaces. They also finish basements and can remodel entire living spaces. All you need is an idea of what you’re dreaming about, and the design team will turn that dream into a drawing. Within months that drawing can be a reality. And the Mt. Tabor Builders team will strive to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible. That experience has led to a testimonial like this one from Anne Marie:
“From the first meeting, we had the idea, but they (Willie and Royce Eby of Mt. Tabor) guided us into exactly what we wanted. They took what we had and made some suggestions and adapted some things that enveloped our ideas. Shawn (Mt. Tabor Foreman) was always available to meet and talk about the tweaks being made to the project. All around from start to finish, it was an excellent experience.” – Anne Marie, Williamsport, MD
