Mt. Tabor was asked to design and build a beautiful lodge near Berkeley Springs, WV.

Mt. Tabor’s recently had clients who were ready to retire and wanted a slower pace with a mountain view. They hoped for a custom home builder that would listen to their ideas and build a quality custom home based on those ideas. And, they wanted a mountain setting with a front yard and a million dollar view of the peaks and valleys from the back deck. The Great Cacapon area — close to Berkeley Springs — offered the views and Mt. Tabor brought the building expertise.

The home’s original design was created by Architectural Designs. The exact plan can be seen at this link. The Cape Cod features timber frame and stone work on the stylish front porch that graces the entire front of the house. The back deck stretches the length of the home.
