Mt. Tabor Builders is celebrating 25 years of building homes and other projects across the Tri-state area.
In 2001 Willie Eby had a dream of building a construction company that focused on excellence. Now, a quarter of a century later, it’s clear that dream has become a reality for him, his team and the many clients served by the Mt. Tabor Builders team of designers and construction experts. To commemorate this milestone, Willie penned these words:
It feels like only yesterday I applied for my business license and framed the very first house under this new company. I still have that blueprint hanging on my office wall — a daily reminder of where we started and how far we’ve come.
As I look back over the last 25 years, one word rises above the rest—blessed. Mt. Tabor began when Alex and Cameron were still young kids at home, and in the years that followed we welcomed Zachary. To think that my boys were once children, grew into men, and now help operate the very business we started a quarter-century ago is a powerful reminder of how quickly time moves. As we celebrate 25 years, we are deeply thankful for the clients who trusted us with their homes. It’s a special feeling knowing that families we built for decades ago are still living in those homes, and in some cases, we’re now building for their children. The kids whose bedrooms we once designed are now adults asking us to design entire homes for their own families.
We are also grateful for the partnerships formed along the way. Some began with that very first house, the one still framed on my wall. From trade professionals to banking partners, you have been and continue to be a critical part of this community, of Mt. Tabor Builders, and of my own journey.
Meeting with potential clients before, during and after this year’s HBA Home Show
The Mt. Tabor staff members enjoy meeting with people in their Clear Spring, MD office conference room — 14624 National Pike — or at the upcoming HBA Home Show in Hagerstown, MD on March 7th and 8th. Mt. Tabor will again be a vendor at the show at Hagerstown Community College. Their staff will be available for conversation during the weekend event.

Meet Mt. Tabor’s new design consultant
Jerri Martin is Mt. Tabor’s new design consultant, bringing a decade of experience to clients wanting help with interior and exterior design elements. Much like the Mt. Tabor architectural designers do in the early meetings, Jerri will ask questions to get to answers, bringing clarity to the final building project. This is a helpful approach for those wanting a new home or those seeking to remodel their current dwelling.

She will help clients select the materials and features that homeowners can enjoy every day. Countertops, flooring, paint colors, molding, fixtures, cabinets and much more. And that’s just on the interior. She can also help with exterior decisions that will add to a home’s curb appeal.
